Abstract
|
|
|
This is a case report of Bochdalek hernia in an adult, which was evaluated and corrected at Capital Army Hospital recently.
Stomach, great omentum, colon and spleen had been herniated without sac through the posterolateral foramen of the left diaphragm.
Those were replaced and the opening was repaired through transthoracic approach.
The postoperative course was uneventful, and he was returned to his army duty.
